Drawing on our expertise in crafting Japanese randoseru, this backpack is designed to be comfortable to carry.
The flap features traditional Japanese Washi Tatami, finished with authentic Japanese motifs using a special dyeing technique. Designs include traditional Japanese patterns such as 「Waves」, 「Kabuki」, 「Red Fuji」, and 「Cherry Blossoms」.

~What is Clarino?~

Clarino® is the world's first leather-like material and the iconic material traditionally used for Japanese randoseru. Combining outstanding scratch resistance, exceptional durability, lightweight flexibility, and excellent surface durability, it delivers lasting performance for everyday use. Its water-resistant finish also protects against rain while making it easy to care for.

~What is Washi Tatami?~

Washi tatami is a modern tatami material that has gained popularity in recent years as an alternative to traditional igusa (rush grass) tatami.
The material is crafted by cutting machine-made washi paper into evenly sized strips, twisting them into paper cords, and coating each cord with resin before drying and curing. This innovative process results in a durable, long-lasting material while preserving the refined texture and appearance of traditional washi.
Unlike traditional igusa (rush grass) tatami, washi tatami offers excellent resistance to fading and scratches. Its water-resistant properties and exceptional durability have made it a popular choice for modern residential interiors.

*Please note that the washi tatami material may transfer color when damp, especially when exposed to sweat or rain. Please use with care.
